Yes, it was another fun filled evening on Monday, July 18th at the Chula Vista Golf Course. It was the 16th Taste of Bonita fundraiser for the Bonita Museum and Cultural Center. The Taste of Bonita was started years ago by Diane Cousino and has continued to be a success under the watchful eye of Carol Hammond, a founding member of the Museum. Carol’s committee (Mike Bell, Museum Board member, Don Cousino, Carole Hamilton, Jayne Maccabe, Lisa Morris, food & beverage manager at the Chula Vista Golf Course, and Mary Jane Pye) seem to have the knack for pulling the event together.

The Museum encourages all its members and readers of the Newsletter to visit our local restaurants and grocers who provided all the tasty samples.   This year, the participants were: Applebee’s, Bonita Golf Course, Bonita Vons, Brigantine Seafood, Chula Vista Golf Course, Costco Wholesale, Cotija Taco Shop, Los Antojos Mexican Cuisine, Maye’s Dessert & Bistro, Miguel’s Cocina, Bonita Starbucks Coffee, Subway at 805, Trader Joe’s, Via Lago Trattoria, Villa Bonita, Villa Capri Italian Restaurant, Romesco.
